Don and Carol Katonak came from Colorado to Amherst,Ohio and made some surprise visits to relatives and friends. A surprise visit to Lorna Raynak Middendorf happened on Sunday,November 25,2012 in the afternoon. At the time of the visit, Lorna was doing her daily dose of FAMILY HISTORY on her laptop, grinding out the details available online. She explains: FAMILY HISTORY is really never finished. If you are addicted to searching out the mysteries and wonderings of family stories you keep looking and looking. Just ask Marie Katonak Wallace and newer family detective Judy West. Lorna promises to wrap up a semi-complete Katonak Family Story by the end of 2012 (or??) and to make available the famiy tree, selected stories and now about 1000 photos on DVD. It was a good visit, catching up on many happenings and trying to make contact with other nearby relatives. The photo of the cousins was taken at Blue Skye Restaurant in Amherst, Ohio, where Don was having lunch with some former classmates. Carol was there, too.
