Who are the Katonaks? Katonaks are men and women, girls and boys, mothers and fathers, sons and daughters, great-grandmothers, nephews and nieces, aunts and uncles, mostly related by birth and association to a family -- All those descended from a common ancestor of a tiny mountain village in Eastern Slovakia, now after 700 years called Gemerskej Polony (aka Mala Poloma).
